BNY Mellon Asset Servicing has extensive experience supporting the trust and custody needs of the NDT industry. Our experience includes; knowledge of legal and regulatory issues, trust operations, trust accounting, trade processing, trust tax, investment servicing, and client service.

NDTs are processed on our Accounting System, a true, trade date, full accrual, multicurrency accounting and reporting system. We provide reports on a cash and accrued basis. Our reports are structured to meet the objectives of various user levels - Executive, Manager and Audit. Our reports for taxable relationships are designed to provide full disclosure of all transactions.

We also prepare and file annual tax returns for both qualified and non-qualified NDTs, including preparation of amended returns and the handling of all correspondence with taxing authorities, such as the IRS.

Being active in conferences and study groups exposes our staff to other organizations involved in the NDT industry. BNY Mellon Asset Servicing is a long-standing supporter and annual sponsor of the Nuclear Decommissioning Trust Fund Study Group Conference (NDT Conference).

BNY Mellon Asset Servicing is also a periodic sponsor of the Utility Pension Fund Study Group Conference, a peer group of the NDT Conference that addresses the pension responsibilities of the utility companies.

Our experienced client service staff has also been actively involved in regulatory developments. We have taken the time to study and understand the implications of IRS Code Section 468A, NRC regulations as set out in the Federal Register, FERC requirements, and state PUC regulations.
