Effective immediately, BNY Mellon Enterprise Cash Management (Enterprise) will cease to send CD-ROMs containing client data related to lockbox and disbursement services unless you notify us that it is permissible to do so.
This new process will be in place until our vendors have provided us solutions that enable us to encrypt the data contained on the CD-ROMs while still permitting your business clients to access the information in a cost effective and efficient manner.
You can opt to have your business clients continue to receive their unencrypted CD-ROM(s) by contacting your Enterprise Client Support Officer or Enterprise Account Manager. You may choose to have all your business clients continue to receive unencrypted CD-ROM(s) on a collective basis, or you may choose to contact each client for their individual decision. For business clients who will continue to receive unencrypted CD-ROM(s), once we receive your instructions we will send any CD-ROM(s) that are ready for distribution and will continue to do so going forward.
We encourage you to speak with your Enterprise Account Manager about this matter and especially to consider using electronic means of receiving this data either via web access using EnternetBank®, our private labeled information reporting system, or image transmission, which may provide your clients with enhanced security, cost efficiency and data accessibility.
