Mellon Global Investments Appoints Rainer Lenzin in New Sales Role
LONDON, 6 October 2005 — Mellon Global Investments today announced the appointment of Rainer Lenzin as vice president responsible for sales in Austria and Switzerland, reporting to Neal Kutner, first vice president and head of sales for Mellon Global Investments in the region. Lenzin joined on 4 October 2005.
Lenzin's key responsibilities will include the promotion of Mellon's offshore fund range to multi-manager platforms as well as developing the distribution of Mellon funds through the private banking businesses of local financial services organisations.
Lenzin joins Mellon from Lehman Brothers in Zurich where he was responsible for institutional equity sales into Switzerland, Holland and Germany. His previous experience includes fund management roles at Credit Suisse Asset Management and as a consultant at Corporate Marketing Strategy Consulting in Berne.
