Mellon Analytical Solutions Unveils Enhancements to eCharts and Generator
PITTSBURGH, October 17, 2005 — Mellon Analytical Solutions (MAS) is enhancing its browser-based charting, querying and report writing capabilities in order to provide clients more flexibility and greater report customization. These were unveiled today as MAS, a leading global provider of performance measurement, analytics and attribution services, conducts its annual fund sponsor client conference.
eCharts produces high-end quartile, portfolio ranking, distribution, ellipse, scatter and market cycle graphical reports that communicate portfolio performance, 100 risk statistics and more than 270 monthly and quarterly universes. Recent enhancements include the ability to chart more than 111 portfolio profile characteristics alongside risk statistics and performance returns for analyzing and evaluating trends and providing insight into complex financial analysis. The additional profile characteristics range from portfolio composition, concentration, profitability, trends and valuation to forecasted growth.
Generator is a customizable querying and report writing tool that evaluates performance returns, risk, market values and cash flows for standard and user defined custom time periods. Later this quarter, an additional 250 new data items will be available, including security level holdings, equity and fixed income analytics, issuer fundamentals, security classifications and descriptions, as well as IBES earnings estimates.
