PITTSBURGH, November 7, 2005 — Martin G. McGuinn, chairman and chief executive officer, Steven G. Elliott, senior vice chairman, and John L. Klinck, Jr., vice chairman, of Mellon Financial Corporation (MEL), will be presenting at the Merrill Lynch Banking & Financial Services Conference at 10:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 in New York.
