Mellon Analytical Solutions Enhances eCharts Functionality
PITTSBURGH, December 20, 2005 Mellon Analytical Solutions (MAS) has enhanced the data collection functionality for eCharts, its Web-based graphics and reporting tool, to include a new integrated and comprehensive data collection facility. eCharts produces high-end quartile, portfolio ranking, distribution, ellipse, scatter and market cycle graphical reports that communicate portfolio performance, 54 risk statistics, over 111 portfolio profile characteristics and more than 270 monthly and quarterly universes. The new feature provides automated account set up, data file submission, straight-through processing, monitoring and notification for portfolios not already on the MAS platform. This current upgrade also gives fund sponsors, money managers and consultants instantaneous access to their information, along with a dynamic and flexible display of published and on-demand calculated results.
"With this new capability, our clients can easily and quickly insert their portfolio market values and returns on our platform for immediate analysis in eCharts," said Bill Pryor, MAS chief executive officer. "This allows our clients to view any portfolio against peer groups and market proxies for enhanced insight into the markets and manager activity, which helps them refine and track their investment strategy more effectively. In addition to this enhancement, we will continue investing in the deployment of new technology and are dedicated to providing our clients with a complete, integrated suite of powerful, best-in-class products that will best meet their needs."
