Newton Appoints Fiona Talbot

LONDON, 23 October 2006 — Newton Investment Management Limited has appointed Fiona Talbot as a client account manager within its UK institutional segregated client services team. Talbot joins on 23 October, reporting to Mark Scott, head of institutional business at Newton.

Based in London, Talbot will focus on providing exceptional client service for a range of UK pension funds and UK corporates. She will work alongside the existing wider client service teams to manage and grow Newton's client relationships.

Prior to joining Newton, Talbot spent almost 10 years at Mercer Investment Consulting where she was a senior associate in the investment consulting division. She moved to investment consulting in 2001, having started her career in the pensions department.
