ABN AMRO Mellon Wins £1.2bn Cambridgeshire County Council Mandate

LONDON, 22 November 2006 — ABN AMRO Mellon Global Securities Services B.V. has been appointed by Cambridgeshire County Council Pension Fund to provide global custody, investment accounting (SORP) and securities lending solutions for assets worth £1.2bn.

Cambridgeshire County Council had appointed consultants Thomas Murray to conduct a formal review to ensure the Pension Fund would continue to benefit from best market practice in respect of its custodial arrangements.

Following an initial presentation in Cambridge during August 2006, ABN AMRO Mellon welcomed Cambridgeshire County Council to the Mellon Financial Centre in London for an 6 hour due diligence site visit in September.
