The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) hit pause on rates again in November, amid a backdrop of a growing economy. Markets took comments from Federal Reserve (Fed) Chair Powell as suggesting the end is near for the rate-hiking campaign.
Fed officials also mentioned the recent rise in longer-term Treasury yields as having a dampening effect on the economy, acting as a substitute for an additional rate hike by the Fed.
